What are charitable donations
Charitable donations are voluntary contributions that individuals (private) or legal entities (companies) decide to make to support social, humanitarian and charitable causes. These funds are allocated to projects and initiatives that aim to improve the living conditions of people in need, promote health, education, social inclusion and sustainable development.
Charitable donations can take several forms: one-time donations, recurring donations (monthly or annually), or even donations tied to specific events, such as birthdays or anniversaries.
You can donate by bank transfer, check, credit or debit cards, and ATM cards.
In order to incentivize financial support for charitable projects, the state offers tax breaks for individuals and businesses that make liberal donations to nonprofits, nonprofit organizations, voluntary associations, and other organizations with a social purpose.
