Mayor Baroni and ABF Director Laura Biancalani led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was attended by enthusiastic community members. A special guest, magician Andrea Paris, also joined the celebration.

Muccia, October 28, 2024 – The Bocelli Foundation, which has been active in the Marche region since 2017, supporting communities severely impacted by the 2016 earthquake, has now opened an operational office. This significant ABF presence highlights its commitment to a region that immediately saw its involvement in reconstructing functional and safe school facilities in the towns of Sarnano, Muccia, Camerino, Sforzacosta, and San Ginesio (with work in progress). These efforts represent an investment of over €16 million, involving mostly local workers, and benefiting not only students but also teachers, families, and the entire community with educational projects featuring innovative spaces and programs developed through the “Empowering People and Communities” approach.

The office, now ABF’s permanent base in the Marche region, will serve as a point of reference and a meeting place for initiating new collaborations aimed at community well-being.

A heartfelt thank you to the Municipality of Muccia for hosting the Foundation and to Delta Due of Osimo for generously donating the furnishings. Inside, images adorning the walls recount ABF’s story in and for the Marche – a story of opportunity and beauty.
